Emergency Medicine Enhanced (Level 2)

This two-day course goes beyond the basics of Core and covers more enhanced contemporary emergency medicine ultrasound skills.

• Review of relevant physics of ultrasound
• Focused ultrasound of the gall bladder and common bile duct
• Focused ultrasound of the kidneys and urological system
• Focused ultrasound for deep vein thrombosis
• Focused ultrasound for appendicitis and other common gastrointestinal problems
• Introduction of ultrasound for common musculoskeletal and soft tissue problems
• Good governance and how to progress after the course
